Reaching out

This week in the independent study and mentorship program, I worked on reaching out to find more people to interview as well as ensuring that my website was updated to its fullest. I planned this week's assessment and am continuing to read my article. I am planning to finish that next class. This week, I hope to reach out and contact 5-10 people that I had been researching about last week. Although it may be challenging to set up anything in person this year, I hope by building a relationship; I can carry it into next year when things have calmed down. Furthermore, I continued to brainstorm final project ideas and hope to narrow that down soon. I really hope that by continuing to brainstorm each week I will be able to come up with a unique and interesting finial product. Along the lines of this, I intend to continue in the independent study and mentorship program to continue studying my topic of oncology next year but work more on the narrowing of what I truly want to study. That narrowing will depend upon the mentorship opportunities I can obtain as well as what I find more interesting and is subject to change.
