Homeostais in healthy tissues

This week during the Independent Study and Mentorship program, I furthered my final paper and began to plan how I would form a cohesive essay. Furthermore, since spring break is next week, I planned to utilize that time to help my project and further my paper. I want to ensure quality work and in-depth knowledge and understanding of the subject as well as visuals. I hope to create a factual report. Furthermore, today I reach out to Elizabeth Venincasa, a lady Working on the covid vaccine and the research behind that. Although I have struggled with finding a mentor, I hope to learn more about the medical field from her perspective, even if she is not doing the same research as me. Coming out of a crazy historical snowstorm and not having school in person for two weeks, I knew I had to manage my time efficiently. I budgeted my time and found more resources that I could utilize in writing my paper. For my Assessment this week, I wrote about how the Homeostasis in healthy tissues heavily relies on cell-to-cell adhesion and cell-to-extracellular matrix interaction. The proteins that mediate these separate interactions are cell adhesion molecules, divided into four major groups: cadherins, integrins, selectins, and immunoglobulins.
