Creating a calendar and Planning

This week in the independent study and mentorship program, I created my final topic proposal and kept it up to schedule on my calendar. I furthered my ideas to research E cadherins and decided to stick with the equation I had been researching the previous weeks to turn it into a long-term research project. My goal is to investigate the effects of E-carmine and colorectal cancer and create a long-term paper on it. This study will include multiple assessments and maybe a lab if granted access. The challenged I face this week is being in quarantine. While I was in quarantine, I continued to work on my paper's research aspect and hope to continue my investigation on my topic. One of the challenges I faced this week was dealing with how to get a first-hand source research assessment. For this, I relied on an interview I had yet to write on since it would give me the ability to provide that first-hand experience without putting anyone at risk. This week, I continued to look at adhesion and its effects on our cells and cancer development in my research. Cell to cell adhesion affects cells' polarity, meaning it can affect the particular state, either positive or negative, regarding two poles or electrification.
