Creating 3D models

Creating 3D models

This week during the Independent Study and Mentorship program, I worked on my final product paper and created the three-dimensional diagrams to go along with my final work. It was fascinating for me to make this, and I enjoyed challenging myself to learn new skills. Some of the new skills that I learned include creating a paper with multitudes of medical terminology and drawing a design in 3D on an IPad. One of the challenges I faced included figuring out the pressure system on forger (the app I used for my designs) while creating my product. After doing a lot of research, I realized it was not recognizing how I was holding my brush, and I had to familiarize myself with the drawing settings on this app. Although it took time to get accustomed to this new app and design process, I learned a valuable lesson in problem-solving. I am very proud of the work I produced on my paper and hope to continue researching adhesion this summer and seeing if there is any more research on the exact way you could solve a change in adhesion. I find this to be a fascinating topic, and I hope to study it further.
